The Book Bin is a small independent book store where you will discover best sellers as well as the most complete stock of local talent available. In addition to books, they offer a full-service coffee bar (with Wi-Fi) and on-site design and printing of invitations and personal stationery. Their shelves are loaded with wonderful toys, unique gifts, and edgy greeting cards.
The store was founded by two legendary personalities in the community, E. A. McMath and Joanna Snyder. In January 2016, Philip Wilson fulfilled a lifelong dream when - after nearly 30 years of college teaching and administration - he purchased the Book Bin.
Philip and his entire staff are dedicated to creating and maintaining a vital, thriving independent business that gives the people of the Eastern Shore and visitors to the beautiful Delmarva Peninsula a comfortable, engaging, welcoming place to visit, relax, and shop. They are reliable purveyors of Local Scoop curated writers Ned Brinkley, Earl Swift, and David McCaleb as well as many other deserving authors, photographers, and writers.
